The 8,400 Acre working Cattle Ranch that you will be hunting on was established in 1937. It has been privately owned and operated since. The unique charateristics of this property is what makes its such a wildlife enriched habitat which consists of Natural Pine Forest, Palmetto Flats, Live Oak and Water Oak Islands, Marsh Sloughs, Flag Ponds, Cypress and Grass Fields.
The property borders the 90,000 acre Babcock preserve and Cecil Webb management area.
At Longwood Hammock we have two man towers to single ladders. They have been set to allow access to and from stands without game ever knowing you were ever there. We pick stands according to the wind and sign. This allows you to see game without spooking them and keeps stands good for the next client.
