Longwood Hammock Outfitters offers Trophy Deer Hunting in South Carolina.  South Carolina deer hunting season starts August 15^th.  This gives us the opportunity to hunt for approximately two weeks while the deer are still in velvet. 

Methods used for hunting are tree stands overlooking electric feeders and food plots.  You may use a gun, bow or muzzleloader to harvest your deer.  Woods consist of planted pines, hard woods and river bottoms.

3 Day Trophy Velvet Deer Hunt with meals & lodging included is $1,250.00 per person. 8 point rule strictly enforced.  This area has been trophy managed 8 point and better for the past 10 years.  Longwood Hammock Outfitters strives to grow quality bucks for our clients to harvest.  Longwood Hammock Outfitters only books 12 hunters for Velvet deer season a year or two groups of six hunters insuring you the best hunt possible.

FATHER & SON OR DAUGHTER COMBO HUNT:  Children under the age of 14, child hunt is 1/2 price.

3 Day Hard Horn Trophy Deer Hunts with meals & lodging included is $1,000.00 per person.  8 point rule strictly enforced.  This area has been trophy managed 8 point and better for the past 10 years.

High Deer Population, Comfortable transportation to and from hunting areas.  Access into areas with electric buggies for silent entry and exit, High Quality Stands, Stands that are positioned for silent entry and exit without game knowing you were ever there, 300 lb. Electric Feeders that feed twice daily 312 days a year, Food Plots are limed once a year,  Food Plots replanted and fertilized 3 times a year, 6 bedroom, 4 bath lodge with each hunter having a private bedroom and only 2 hunters to a bathroom.  No more than 6 hunters booked at one time, 3 Hot meals a day, Dinner prepared by local chef, Direct TV (all movie channels), Game Room, Campfires in the evening, Professional Guides.

  Longwood Hammock Outfitters is located off of Interstate I-95, Exit 57 approximately 12 miles West on Highway 64, Williams, South Carolina, Colleton County.  South Carolina is one of the top trophy producing counties in the last 5 years according to The Department of Natural Resources. Our herd of deer is so large that DNR allows no limit on bucks and large amounts of doe tags. We do limit our buck harvest so young buck can get 3 to 4 years of age before harvesting. The lodge sits on the edge of the Little Salkahatchee Swamp.
